Eddystone gives final OK to metal recycling plant plan
Eddystone Borough Council gave final approval Oct. 11 to the land development plan of Easter Metal Recycling Terminals to locate an indoor metal shredding facility along the Delaware River. Council’s action prompted residents at the council meeting opposed to the company to turn their backs in unison after council voted.
