City offices closed Thursday, Friday The city of Jacksonville municipal offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no sanitation/recycling services on those two days. Regular sanitation and recycling will resume Monday as scheduled. Wednesday’s bulk pickup will remain the same.

Springfield holiday trash pick-up schedule
Due to the Thanksgiving Holidays on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25-26, trash and recycling will not be collected. Trash normally collected on Thursdays and Fridays will only be collected on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 22- 23, of that week. Residents are asked to hold their paper and comminlged recycling until the following Thursday and Friday, Dec. 2- 3.
