Recycle bins – Caixotes para lixo reciclável

This is not a very common image in Portugal : 3 different recycle bins side by side. One for paper, another for batteries and the other for glass. Most Portuguese don’t use recycle bins. On one hand, there aren’t many across the country. On the other hand, people don’t understand the need.

Isto não é muito comum em Portugal: três recepientes para lixo reciclável lado a lado. Um é para papel, outro para pilhas e o último para vidro. A maioria dos Portugueses não separa o lixo. Por um lado, não existem recipientes suficientes espalhados pelo País. Por outro lado, as pessoas não estão sensibilizadas para o problema.
