The interview with Cape Coral recreation director Steve Pohlman was very interesting reading, especially the part were he was proud that Sun Splash had a successful season. Also Mr. Pohlman was proud that the revenue this year from Sun Splash was about .5 million!

I attended the Oct. 2 “Get Out and Vote – Take Back the Cape” meeting. I’ve also visited this group’s Facebook page and blog, and have listened to its members speak out at council meetings. I applaud their involvement in local government as well as their get-out-the-vote initiative.
