Packard Jennings – The Pocket Survival Guide
Participants are invited to meet at SoEx for a 20-minute workshop to fold instructional pamphlets on how to devise an emergency raft out of recycled product packaging in case of a catastrophic flood- a consequence of consumer waste and mass production that contributes to pollution, and global warming.
Once the Pocket Survival Guides are folded, participants will enter various stores and install them on consumer products to replicate “instant savings coupons.” Future customers will be happy to find their household purchases subverted by public art!
Pocket Survival Guide is also in NYC through Dec 19th, 2009

Biosphere MKV and MRF (Material Recycling Facility); a breakthrough technology
The MRF (Material Recycling Facility) is a major breakthrough development necessary for the implementation of proper waste management. It was a proposed project lead by Ronald Shane Flynn that will going to operate in San Fernando, Pampanga. He spearheaded the increasing awareness of adopting an advance method for safe disposal of waste. Although, there is a need to lessen the generation of waste and to recycle them, the development for recovery via MRF system and the Biosphere gasification process will now play an important role as an alternative source of energy and contributes to the reduction of fossil fuels. The MRF is a significant facility available to maintain safe, clean and orderly environment. The plan expansion includes roads, fences, MRF and the Biosphere MKV structure. These are all funded by TGEG, SBSC, and other affiliated partners who strongly took the initiative to encourage locals and internationals to strongly promote and practice the segregation and composting of waste.
TGP,TGEG and SBSC are now putting up the first Material Recycling Facility and Biosphere power plant in San Fernando, Philippines, the proposed area for storage of such waste that share a more serious developing and implementing projects that provide complete solutions to problems of waste and landfills and as it turns waste into green energy. Our country has so many landfills which are actually overfilled so the good governance should find some ways to resolve it since it is causing us a huge waste problem. With the magnificent idea of Ron Flynn, he promotes green solutions through the Biosphere MKV and MRF, it has established ways to recycle waste while it generates electricity from landfill waste and doing so with zero pollution. And this aspiration must be accompanied by hard work, proper planning and unrelenting action, in accordance with the people behind this breakthrough facility project.
