The goal of the take back campaign is as follows: for every old phone and accessory of any make and model that is donated Nokia aims to reduce the e-waste by safely recycling all these items. Up to 80 percent of Nokia mobile phones can be recycled and the remaining 20 percent is used to refuel the recycling process.

Everyday we can encounter myriads of stories and reports in newspapers and television regarding the ever increasing threats of global warming, the fatal diseases taking its toll on mankind and the energy sources getting depleted day by day. A large number of scientists and researchers all around the globe are talking about the fatal effects pollution, diseases and global warming is having on our Mother Nature. With each passing day we are moving towards disaster and destruction and if we don’t start taking adequate steps to curb them, we ourselves will be responsible for destroying our planet, its varied culture and the future of our generations to come.
People in their hectic and busy lifestyle rarely pay a heed towards maintaining the equilibrium of our planet and taking vital steps to eliminate the threats of pollution. When we walk in the streets or stroll in our neighborhood we can sometimes notice heaps of wastes lying in the corner of the streets. Some people have the tendency of throwing the waste materials at a corner or outside their home. But they forget that these wastes cause immense pollution in our environment, can become home to large number of bugs and mosquitoes which cause fatal diseases. Also, the waste materials which people can consider as utterly useless can be recycled. The waste materials including plastic, cardboard, wood and other items are collected by the waste management companies, recycled and items are produced which help in energy conservation.
With proper waste management by the business houses and every household and the usage of Wheelie bins, skips, roll on containers, we can pave way to make our world a better place to live. As a habitant of the planet Earth it becomes our duty and responsibility to join hand with the rest of the world and contribute towards reducing the dreadful effects of pollution and eradicating the causes of diseases and global warming.
There are some waste management companies too who are dedicated towards providing the commercial enterprises and the household the adequate equipments to collect their waste and at regular intervals they collect the waste, recycle them and produce items and equipments from the waste materials which not only saves a lot of energy but also helps to keep our ambience neat, clean and pollution free. So, why ignore the ever increasing threats and put our lives and lives of our future generation in grave danger? Use the adequate measures of waste management and let our generation live in peace, harmony and with the gift of beautiful and healthy planet!
