Question by Michael Helperin: What’s the best way to recycle paper and plastic besmirched with motor oil?
I often see signs saying “recycle used motor oil because the earth can’t” yet when I bring to the toxics roundup my empty oil pints or the paper towels I used to wipe the dipstick or the engine block, the staff there tell me “we don’t take trash”. How can I dispose of these items in the way that is safest for the global ecology?
