Wyoming County residents urged to secure trash before driving
Trash build-up is a growing problem in Wyoming County. As the spring clean-up season begins, Wyoming County Commission members and the county litter officer are asking that residents place a tarp, or other cover, over their garbage before driving to a transfer station or the county “landfill.”

Students recycle used items at Doo-Dads Swap
Peer Health Advocates kicked off a two-day event Tuesday encouraging students to swap used clothing and household items with peers and reduce their environmental impact. Jennifer Brenne, 21, a senior majoring in Health Promotion and Behavior, donated a sweater and was excited about the Doo-Dads Swap offering her an alternative to her usual shopping methods.

A printing park?
23 February, 2011 – In an effort to minimise the outsourcing of printing works to India and other countries and negative environmental impact of the printing industry, the government is considering establishing a printing park in Thimphu.
