The numbers are all the years Southern Exposure has existed

Packard Jennings – The Pocket Survival Guide

Participants are invited to meet at SoEx for a 20-minute workshop to fold instructional pamphlets on how to devise an emergency raft out of recycled product packaging in case of a catastrophic flood- a consequence of consumer waste and mass production that contributes to pollution, and global warming.

Once the Pocket Survival Guides are folded, participants will enter various stores and install them on consumer products to replicate “instant savings coupons.” Future customers will be happy to find their household purchases subverted by public art!

Pocket Survival Guide is also in NYC through Dec 19th, 2009

Biosphere Technology to an Efficient Waste Management

Waste Management Problem

Improper waste management is a luring problem that incessantly increases as the population doubled. Upshot is money to get rid of to municipalities and wastes management companies. The usual option is disposing all human’s waste through landfills, which is not at all satisfactory.

Due to depot of waste that has been hauled through landfills, the environmental hazards that it had caused affected the lives of many. Not only improper waste management impinge on the many lives but it is also concerning resting on the environmental issues.

Because of irresponsible waste management, there is a tremendous moving that the environment is on top of. Because of waste incineration the atmospheric emission is deteriorating. Let us tackle the ways that were practiced towards effective management.

Measures to Deal with Waste Management

Incineration – is the process of burning waste in order to diminish it.

How effective it is?

It is a kind of waste management area wherein being opposed all the time because of the carbon dioxide emission that it contributes.

Landfills – it is where trash inhabits.

How effective it is?

Landfills are helpful for we cannot think of another place to hoard all of our waste aside from it. There are the pits most especially as regards to health problems that a community of people might be getting, not to mention the land depletion that we suffer.

Recycling – it is the process of turning ecological waste materials to something resourceful.

How effective it is?

Recycling is a very good means of proper waste management for it minimizes waste materials that would be hoarded to landfills. Nevertheless, it is still not a long term solution. What about non- recyclable waste materials?

Nowadays that innovation is frenziedly evident, there are ways developed in order to be of solution to this waste management hazard. Our solutions and technologies allow communities to enhance sustainability level by turning waste streams into reusable and valuable resources. There are lots of technologies available but only confides onto recyclable waste materials, BIOSPHERE TECHNOLOGY is different, it diminishes recyclable and non- recyclable materials, making it out of the category of another band aid solution.

What is the Biosphere Technology?

Biosphere Technology is a process of gasification that tie together the combustibility (the measure of how easily a substance will burn, through fire or combustion) of solid wastes to create heat source that produces an extremely hot steam that will then generate green electricity.

The latest form of gasification is the revolutionary Biosphere Technology which was created and developed by the renowned author of various original contributions in scientific literature, Dr. Chris McCormack. Dr. McCormack also serves as the Chairman and CEO of Global Environmental Energy Corporation (GEECF). Biosphere Technology siphons the combustibility of solid wastes and transforms it into a fuel that generates steam of extreme heat which in turn produces green electricity. What makes the Biosphere process unique is the fact that it is performed in a controlled environment of limited oxygen to limit most of the resulting atmospheric emissions.

The electricity that was generated produces an extremely hot steam that will then generate green electricity. It was generated by destroying waste in a cost effective manner without polluting the environment. The process is done in a limited – oxygen environment thereby significantly limiting atmospheric emissions.

The advantages of biosphere technology are numerous:

1. Biosphere Technology is an Eligible Renewable Energy Developer as Renewable Energy Market.

2. The process assures a zero percent harm to the environment. It doesn’t confide into a process wherein it will do impairment to the surroundings

3. This is a green technology that harnesses the combustibility of solid wastes to create a heat source that produces an extremely hot steam that will then generate green electricity. Green and clean electricity that is more efficient and sustainable.

4. No toxic leftovers that require landfill or which cause leach ate issues.

5. The process is done in a limited – oxygen environment thereby significantly limiting atmospheric emissions. It addresses both energy production and waste management issues.

Biosphere Technology would be surely is something not to be ostracized. It is something to be buoyant about. Biosphere gasification technology is set to change the future one city at a time whereas generating electricity while diminishing waste hazards.

Indeed, biosphere technology is set to change the future; it doesn’t only confide into sojourning the hoarding waste problem of the country, it will also serve as green electricity for every light bulb of every home.

We are not Environmentalists, We are EARTH WARRIORS
