Manila, Philippines – Climate action and justice groups vowed to throw out incinerator schemes masquerading as “renewable energy” sources as these are undermining the country’s ban on waste incineration, while causing toxic pollution and reduced employment in the recycling sector.

UW students show the importance of recycling
Do you ever wonder what is in the trash? A group of UW students asked themselves the same question and dived into the garbage bins in the Wyoming Union last week. In eight hours of dumpster diving, they had fished 45 pounds of recyclables out of 223 pounds of garabage.
