as someone who grew up in a small town and was always conscious of not littering, i’m totally amazed to see people littering in public all the time. clearly without a second thought. there is no caring for the commons in a place where there are no rewards for caring. but homeless people recyle cans for the bottle deposit. can we turn media into a reward?
