Question by : How would you design a single stream automated recycling concept?
The goal is to be as automated as possible in the design of the recycling center, have minimum contamination of materials, cost effective if possible, be able to sort steel, aluminum, paper/cardboard, plastic bottles/bags. Ideas for any part of the system are appreciated. Thanks!

run it through a magnet to sort ferrous material then a crusher chopper then through a series of microwave emitters and thermal cameras it should be possible sort by temp according to the frequency of the emitter.
