I was at my nephews birthday party (he turned two), and he pulled me in the house with him to watch “Where the Garbage Goes” He loves it. It shows the job from picking up to processing the recycling. I found it interesting that it took place in Londonderry NH and surrounding towns becase it is near us. His brother, who is three loves the ‘Fire and Rescue” one. His mother says when it’s on he is very involed in it.

This is really a well-produced video. My three and a half year old loves it but it appeals to my eight and five year olds as well. Actually, Dad and I learned quite a bit too. Great production quality – which some of these reality videos are lacking. The dvd takes you on a tour of a recycling facility, a scrap yard, and a landfill so there is footage of lots of other type of machinery and vehicles besides garbage trucks.

THIS BLUE BAG WORKS FOR TRASH, GARBAGE AND ESPECIALLY FOR ALL RECYCLED PRODUCTS. NOW I DON’T FEEL BAD WHEN I PUT THIS 30 GALLON BLUE BAG IN ALL MY WASTE DISPOSALE CONTAINERS.

Perfect for moving house when packing bulky, non-fragile items. Also good if you have a bunch of stuff needing some short term storage while you wait for time to get rid of it (great for hoarders). Strong, easy to see the contents. One star off because it has the problem typical to drawstring bags – the bags are stronger than the strings, and they sometimes snap off when gathering them to tie.

I had been buying my ‘blue bags’ for recycling from the local stores and was paying about $6 for five 50 gallon bags. As I was itemizing some reciepts I noticed how much I was spending per month on these bags was nearly $25 on average. That’s simply too much for bags, but I did not want (and it was technically fineable) to stop recycling.
The solution was to buy these bags. Not only are they far less expensive than the ones I was buying at the store, but they also have a pull tie system unlike the handled ones I had bought previously. This made me a very happy camper.
While I have no probative evidence of this, I feel as though the recycling men are much happier as well as they can easily toss these bags around and I have yet to find debris littering my driveway as a result.

These large blue sacks do the job well. They hold a large load of recyclable goodies. I am impressed by the capacity and strength of the sacks/bags. I end up filling them the bag to the max and utilizing the draw strings to keep the load well confined . Highly recommended!
