One important thing I learned from the reading is that atoms are redistributed from item to item, or in this case, from organism to organism. This happens because atoms live for so long, and there are probably a limited number of atoms in the Universe (albeit a huge number). This means that part of everyone’s body once belong to famous people in history like, for example, Harriet Tubman, Shakespeare, and Teddy Roosevelt. However, the amount of atoms in our bodies is so high, and the amount that came from each of these people is so low, that it is not that significant an amount.
