Aurora Reaches Plowing Agreement for Knox Farm
At its Jan. 24 meeting, the Aurora Town Board approved an agreement between the town and New York State regarding the plowing of Knox Farm State Park. The town will continue to plow the driveway and parking lot at the park.

Phone Scam Targets Grandparents
Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responded Jan. 19 after a woman on Colony Court in Elma received a phone call from a person pretending to be her grandson. The woman’s real grandson is out of the country, but the imposter said he was in Buffalo and needed money because he was in trouble. The woman contacted deputies and then played along with the imposter in hopes of helping police to find him.
