Budget will eliminate recycling mandate
Supporters of recycling in Wisconsin say they will fight Gov. Scott Walker’s proposal in the 2011-2013 state budget that calls for the state to eliminate the requirement that all local governments must recycle and also eliminates state funds to support the program if local governments decide to continue their recycling programs anyway.
