Question by Lachie: What are the Disadvantages or recycling waste water ?
Also, could you please tell me some advantages too if you have the time ? (:

Disadvantages

1. Smell
2. Cuts into natural process where every other person’s crap is some organism’s food.
3. Chemicals used could be harmful in long run.
4. Requires large area of land that could be permanently damaged.
5. Air born pollution and germs.

Advantages

1. Could stop lots of pollutants to enter the natural process
2. Could help nature to be cleaner and not plagued by weeds
3. Could remove Chemicals that could have been harmful for environment
4. Stops waste water seepage into natural water sources.

    I guess you want someone to do your homework for you. I give you a few hints that may help you use your own young brain:

    disadvantages: use of energy, equipment (pipes, filters etc), chemicals (chlorine etc) and labor (research, control, promotion etc) and therewith high costs for water that is still minor in quality

    the advantage is that the waste water with his high toxic contents is not polluting our rivers and that the recycled water can be used for a multitude of purposes where pure spring waters are not needed and therefor nor spoiled furthermore. Also the technology developed therefor allows poor countries where water is a essential problem to profit on the long run from those experiences (already paid for) in order to help providing water at all and therewith guarantee survival and recovery from extensive drought such as many places in Africa.
