Where I live we have to pay for our trash bags( special town bags), and bring it to the recycle center ourselves, so it does make people more aware to recycle.

Where my parents live, the can only throw out one big can of garbage a week now. The garbage people will also only take large items of garbage one week a month. I predict that people will end up with garbage piled up all over the place because they are being limited as to how much they can throw away per week.
