Question by Andy H8: How to permanently delete my recycle bin?
I want to sell my computer, and permanently delete my recycle bin. There is a tab that says restore all deleted material, and I am afraid that will bring out my personal private deleted things. What to do please

Deleting Recycle bin is not the answer. You can use ‘Incinerators’ available on net.
Or you can delete/format C drive and reinstall Windows with the aid of Windows installer CD.

  • Mahboob . says:

    choose empty recycle bin.

but they can get details what u had in the system by backuping ur details in another system. just format twice and sale the system no can get ur details

First, delete it out of the recycle bin. This will not delete the actual info, which could still be brought back. If you Defrag the machine after you delete the information, anything left will be essentially destroyed. What would be left would be small pieces and parts, completely out of context…and it would not be retrievable without expensive, sophisticated software.

Of course, if you have the installation disks, I’d do a low level format. Get Dban (free, http://www.dban.org) and boot to it. It will write over everything, making it impossible to get anything back…ever. After that, you’ll have to reinstall any programs and drivers.
