Question by New California Republic: I have to pay an e-waste recycling tax when I buy electronics in California?
This is insane. They keep raising the tax on this too. What’s worse is the e-waste gets shipped to China where it’s broken down and ends up poisoning villages so they can make 1.25 a day

Then go to mexico to buy your electronics!! It is a buyer beware business down there though!!! Always check the insides before you buy!!!!!!

Get use to it .Some one has to pay for all the liberal ideas California has.
Actually, China has more stringent ROHS/WEEE regulations than we do.
If you can’t pay for the cost of recycling the stuff you buy, you shouldn’t buy it in the first place.
