Household item recycling, medication disposal offered
OTTAWA — Disposal of expired medications and recycling of household items will be done from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 25 at Putnam County Educational Service Center, 124 Putnam Parkway, Ottawa.

Plainville hazardous waste collection planned
The Plainville Board of Health will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 from 8 am – 12 pm at the Highway Garage located at 29 West Bacon St. Plainville residents must have a “Recycling Center Annual Pass” to participate.
