Depending on the material, if you have aluminum you will heat it pour into molds and the paint chemicals ex.. will be removed and the pure alumin.. will be the result, no tools hardly required just a hot kelm and a mold you could make
for steel you must melt it must get much hotter this is a field all in itself and will require lots of osha safety classes environmental issues permits its set up only for the rich and the super poor to carry it to them but you could overcome this with dedication hard work , lots of study good family and friends to back the idea…good luck ,,,a good tip look at how the Egyptians did it, (made molds with concrete) ex…
bricks are a little tricky you need engineer to build the machine and it will grind them up for so long before you will have to change the part that crushes
