Place ads on Freecycle and Craigslist, as well as local classifieds and newspapers. These are all free to advertise in, and specify that people must pick it up.

If it doesn’t get taken, there’s always Goodwill or another thrift store.

Maybe you could donate it to a Boys and Girls Club, school, or community center.

Try Freecycle http://www.freecycle.org/ (if there is one near you). You can post the item and there will probably be numerous people who will be willing to come to your house to pick it up.

And as another poster mentioned, Craiglist http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/ is a good way to give away/sell things you don’t want.

In many instances, the item doesn’t even need to be in working order. If this machine has any amount of metal in it, someone may even want it for the scrap metal.
